The lodge at Mawgan Pads was beyond our expectations! It was immaculately clean and had all the amenities we needed. The owners clearly take great pride in the details, as we found soft towels, games, and even a welcome pack waiting for us. The location was perfect, with a quiet, dog-friendly beach just a short walk away and Newquay and Padstow within a 20-minute drive. Sitting outside and enjoying the stunning views of the rolling hills was a lovely touch. it truly felt like a home away from home.
The only minor drawback was the master bed, where I could feel the mattress springs. But if that were replaced, the lodge would be absolutely perfect.

I had an absolutely amazing time at this peaceful and quiet lodge! It was the perfect break away from the hustle and bustle, and the lack of tourists made it even better. The bed was so comfortable, and I loved the lovely touches in the lodge, like the milk, orange juice, and biscuits. Everything was super clean and felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, with a lovely, dog-friendly beach just a 10-minute walk away, and some great spots to grab food and drinks nearby. Plus, it was just a short drive to Newquay and Padstow, which was jaw-dropping. I really enjoyed the outside seating with the stunning views of the rolling hills. Inside, the lodge had everything we needed and more. It was mind-blowing how well-equipped it was. The communication from the owners was excellent, and they provided us with all the information we needed. I would definitely stay in this lodge again without hesitation.

The lodge is located on a hill, which can make the road up and down treacherous, especially in frosty weather.

Perfect location: The hotel is situated in a quiet area, just a short walk from a beautiful, dog-friendly beach. It is also conveniently located, with Newquay and Padstow just a short drive away. Well-equipped lodge: The lodge was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was spacious and well-stocked with games, which was a bonus. The owners paid attention to small details and even provided a welcome pack and soft towels. Beautiful surroundings: The outside seating area offered stunning views of rolling hills, adding to the overall charm and relaxation of the lodge.
Uncomfortable master bed: The only downside was the master bed, where I could feel the mattress springs. Replacing it would greatly improve the overall comfort of the lodge.
